While you pray for Japan... pray for others elsewhere as well

Do NOT get me wrong. I feel HORRIBLE about what happened there - I feel bad for the people and all who were harmed and killed. But what bothers me is that there are so many stamps, signs, posters, pictures, etc. supporting "Japan" then there were supporting other places in crisis over the last few years. Why? Because of the HUGE anime/manga fanbase or an obssession with Japan? Or because people like to be ingorant and ignore the fact that it is effecting areas closer to us? And it's not like this is just effecting Japan. What about all the other areas getting hit as well? Come on! Support your own country while you are at it! All these American's saying "Pray for Japan" while they can be supporting what is going on in their own country as well.

I understand it has a REALLY high death toll and I know there are so many missing. But there are still people alive that are suffering... remember and help them. And keep in mind the past - all those who have suffered in the same and similar crisis.

I am disabling comments because I just don't want to hear it. I kind of have a life ^-^;
