Katsucon was one of the best conventions I have ever attended. My friends were all amazing and I met some great people. I stepped out of my comfort bounds and participated in a panel, made new friends, and just had an overall fantastic time. There is so much I have blogged about, I don't think it'd be a good idea to put it all here. This is the shortened version. A lot is cut out due to length. We got to the Gaylord around 6:30pm on Thursday since we hit some traffic. We all pretty much wanted to cry it was so beautiful. It all seemed so unreal that we were in Maryland, at the Gaylord, and I had made the drive by myself. The place was gorgeous and we had a balcony room (: Everything was fantastic. We considered going down and hanging for a bit, but we decided to finish cosplay in the room and watch PewDiePie instead XD

Friday I cosplayed Ciel Phantomhive in the morning, Alois Trancy in the afternoon, and Fay D Fluorite in the early evening. Because it was Valentine's weekend, we all decided to pass out Valentines ♥ We spent a good portion of our time in the Dealers Room and Artist Alley though XD

I participated in the Fullmetal Tsubasa panel held at 11pm. I was Edward Elric. Our group was pretty terrified about how the panel was going to turn out, but it all worked out. We actually were pretty excited about how well it all went (: We had a base script, but we strayed really far from it, so it didn't go quite as planned, but it was fantastic. I had so much fun with my group in that, I seriously love them all <3 You can watch it here: [link] ♥

Saturday I cosplayed Aigis from Persona3 and Ciel Phantomhive. I had someone ask me out on a date, unfortunately though, we had scheduling problems (since there aren't enough hours in a day) and we weren't able to do it.

While I was off with Sam, the one who asked me on a date, my friends decided to do a Valentines surprise for me. Billy bought me an adorable Sebastian plushy and were going to leave it on my hotel bed along with a few other things; but unfortunately I caught them. I was sad I spoiled it. It was the thought that counts I suppose haha. It was wonderful. ♥

After the Black Butler photoshoot, instead of changing like I initially thought, I went with Natasha and met up with Devin for a private photoshoot. It was a ton of fun, and was one of the highlights of the con for me.

On the way home on Sunday we ran in to some trouble. The beginning of the end started when my navigator told me to turn on a one way street, which I obviously can't do. I proceeded to pass it. After that I missed several exists due to traffic and unable to cross lanes which landed me in downtown Washington DC! It would have been all good and dandy, and maybe only add a half hour to 40 minutes to our time, if there wasn't some large event going on! The traffic was so bad it took at least a half an hour to move 3 miles. On top of that a ton of roads were closed down. I literally got us trapped in DC for like 2 hours. It was terrible, I felt so bad. But we finally did make it back XD My friends were all real chill about it, which was nice :3

But in conclusion, it was one of the best weekends of my life I love my friends so much for making it so wonerful. I wish I could recall everything, but I suppose the feeling is still there
